Earning himself a reputation around Brisbane and northern New South Wales party scene for bringing maximum good time vibes to any dance floor, Jamie Forest bursts on stage like a dancing freight train; once he gets the crowd moving, the momentum is unstoppable. Expect thumping on stage energy that is matched only by the thumping from the crowds he entertains. Jamie is there for the dance floor, a DJ who wants to be part of the boogie as much as man behind it. Hailing from the lush tropics of Bundaberg, Queensland, Jamie spent years as a musician, composer, and performer (and plenty of time living on a pushbike building up his playlists) before turning his attention to electronic music. His brings tasty morsels together from bass funk, funk/soul/disco & bass house, electro swing and tech house for the beginnings of the night while the end of your evening could have your feet firmly planted to a spiral of deep and melodic house cut with techno. He has been billed for festivals including as Bohemian Beat Freaks, Jungle Love, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, The End of the Line and the Tipi Forest at Splendour in the Grass. He has played at various bars around Brisbane and as a part of SEQ’s favourite party on wheels, The Wonky Queenslander at warehouse parties and a festivals such as Earth Frequency Festival and Hey Sunshine.
