Workshops & Discussions
Our Workshop space will create a platform for people to pass on their skills, craft or knowledge to our festival guests. The workshop program will run everyday of the event from dawn until dusk. Anything from; dance, yoga, massage, meditation, drumming, theatre, body art, through to ecology, permaculture, music production, DJing etc. Let’s share our knowledge, have some fun and create a better tomorrow xx
Décor / Lighting / Art Installation
We would like to welcome Décor / Installation artists to be involved in our festival. Décor, Art and lighting installations are very important to us at Rabbits Eat Lettuce, they improve the vibe of the event and help create the magic environment we love to gather and party in. If you are an artist that is interested in creating at Rabbits Eat Lettuce please get in touch with us. We may be able to provide a budget for new installations depending on the scale and quality. We would love to hear from you!
VJ / Multimedia Installation
Rabbits Eat Lettuce will have a village precinct with a bustling market area with funky stalls selling food, drinks, hand made clothing and creations etc. If you would like to bring your stall to Rabbits Eat Lettuce to trade, submit the appropriate application below. Thanks for you interest!
YOU MUST INCLUDE A PHOTO OF YOUR STALL FRONTAGE IN YOUR APPLICATION
Stall holders are permitted to arrive on site Wednesday 08th April 2020 between the hours of 10am and 5pm unless otherwise agreed. All market stalls MUST be onsite and set up by 6pm on the Wednesday 8th April 2020. If you have organised access to electricity it will be available from Wenesday afternoon at 4pm until Tuesday morning at 11am. If you need electricity to keep your stock cold before 4pm Wednesday you will need to bring your own generator for this time.
All stall spaces come with two tickets for staff. If additional people are required you are able to purchase up to (6) additional staff tickets for $150 each for food stalls. If you would like to purchase extra staff tickets they must be paid for by the 8th March 2020 via bank deposit. If you do not pre purchase staff tickets you will have to pay gate price for each additional staff member.
All stall holders are required to use biodegradable detergents & serving paraphernalia (plates, bowls, utensils). All stall holders are responsible for the proper disposal of all waste generated by their stalls. Skip bins will be located onsite and can be used by stall holders for solid waste. Stall holders are expected to leave their site completely clean. Because of messy people in the past we have now decided to enforce a cleaning deposit, which must be paid in addition to the stall fee. This deposit will be refunded once the event is over if you have left your area clean and clear of waste.
All stall holders MUST have their own sullage / grey water pump and hose to deposit their grey water in the holding tanks. This hose most be at least 15m long.
Market Stall fees:
Non Food Stall (Clothing, Jewlery, Crafts etc): = $600 Base Payment + 7% of Revenue through Cashless RFID (can accept cash)
Food / Drink Stall: Base Rate = $1000 + 10% of revenue sales (All sales MUST be through Cashless RFID Wristbands)

Market Stall Applications close on the 28th February 2020. Places are extreemly limited and once places are filled no other applications will be accepted.
We are inviting all professionals working with photography, video and media to apply for a media pass for Rabbits Eat Lettuce. If you have a popular blog or a large following on Instagram we could also be interested in working with you to help promote the festival. If granted a media pass you will be given free entry into the event, a back stage pass and early entry into the event. You will also have the chance to win a cash prize for best media coverage! MUSIC / LIVE BAND / DJ
We have a limited amount of space available for up & coming live Electronic Artists, Live Bands, Solo Acoustic Artists & DJs on our stages. Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival gives you the chance to showcase your music to thousands of people from all over Austalia. Due to the extreemly high cost of opperation of this festival these places are unpaid and are given in exchange for festival tickets. Please ONLY APPLY if you agree to these terms and are happy to showcase your music in exchange for Tickets.
In the theme of Burining Man Festival, we would like to open the doors to Theme Camps. If you or your crew have an idea to create a public space or experience at the event to be enjoyed by all please get in touch with us. Depending on your idea we may be able to give you a place in our festival village.
Theme camps must be aesthetically pleasing with a distinct theme, they must be open to all festival attendees and feature some kind of interactive aspect or events. Participation is Key!

At Rabbits Eat Lettuce we pride our selves in being as inclusive as possible. We welcome all creative types to submit an application for one of our create programs as well as any positive enthusiastic people to join our team of volunteers to help the festival run smoothly.
Volunteers who choose to work during the festival will need to complete two x (6) hour shifts and pay a $300 deposit to secure your place. After the event if you complete your shifts you will be given a $250 refund ($50 admin contribution is retained). All volunteers will receive an awesome Rabbits Eat Lettuce crew T-Shirt & Lanyard which can be kept after the event. All volunteers will also be granted early entry to the event on Thursday so you can get the best camping spots!
Volunteers must present to their shift 10 minutes before their start time and be sober and well rested.
Please submit a photo of your self in party costume in your application to be considered.
We are also welcoming any skilled (carpenters, tree climbers, electricians etc) or creative people to apply to join our build crew to help create the festival. Commitments for the festival build are a minimum of seven days (before the event), however we will be onsite for two weeks before the event working on the build and if accepted you would be welcome to work with us for the duration of the build.
